Having missed a couple of rehearsals lately due to family concerns I must say how impressed I am with how the show is coming along. Scripts are down and our prompt, Lynn doesn’t appear to be too busy. The song and dance routines are coming along with a few slip ups here and there but that is to be expected at this point.
There is such a lovely atmosphere and everyone seems to be having such a laugh. The characters are really funny and all work well together. Obviously there are some areas that require a bit of improvement - me included, I have tried to avoid having my bottom pointed out towards the audience whilst having my tummy tickled and my legs up in the air but that’s upstaging Dick so I have just got to go for it – possibly dressed in lycra too! You rats have got to stop looking so happy and practice nasty faces in the mirror – think of your mum telling you that you have to tidy your room!
