We had a fab and freezing afternoon at the Christmas Lights Switch On.  Thank you to all who came to help out.  It was wet and windy but lots of leaflets and sweets were handed out resulting in loads of interest and plenty of firm bookings.

Martin and I had our faces painted by a “professional” (a little embarrassing being ever so slightly older than the usual customers) and we picked up a few tips for makeup for the panto.

Jodie joined us for a walk around the town in costume with Gemma handing out leaflets and Paparazzi Pete taking snaps of us along the way.  Keep your eyes on the website for photos of Martin dressed as Sarah the Cook, arm in arm with a couple of Police Officers and on a mobility scooter, (Madge in the programme Benidorm comes to mind!), Dick, Sarah and Tommy the Cat screaming on a scary fairground ride and on the stage with the Touch FM crew handing over a cheque for the money raised last year for the Air Ambulance.

It was great fun and hopefully a productive afternoon.  Thanks once again to everyone who came along to help.
