I’m so glad that Lynda is back to keep you all in order – she is so much better at it than me!!
It’s great to see some new faces this year – welcome to you all. I’m sure that you will find us a fun and friendly group. It’s not quite so much fun for the chorus at the start of rehearsals when the songs need to be sung over and over and the dance steps repeated, but when we all get together in a few weeks’ time and start to put the show together you will begin to understand where you all fit in. It will help if you can learn the songs as soon as possible, then it will be easier to concentrate on your feet! Everyone should soon receive a CD of the music so that you can practice your singing at home in the bath or the car.
Won’t we all look fab in our new BASE T-Shirts and sweatshirts – if you want one don’t forget that you can order on line (can’t guarantee that you will look as fetching as our models though!!)
Lastly but most importantly PLEASE, PLEASE do let us know if you are unable to attend rehearsals – Lynda’s number is on your rehearsal schedule.
