What a difficult job!!! It was my pleasure to sit on the auditioning panel this year and see first hand just how difficult it is to select the right cast for the show. The standard of audition was extremely high and the selection far from easy but we eventually came to a decision and think you will all agree that we now have an excellent cast.
I have every confidence that we will put on a great show if the enthusiasm that was shown at the first rehearsal continues. The personalities of the cast members was already beginning to shine through during the read through so I am sure that we are in for a few laughs.
The singing was quite frankly hideous!! But it often is at this early stage and especially when our lovely Joanie isn’t present to keep us all in key.
Well I’m looking forward to another fun time watching it all come together so have fun everyone and keep smiling :)
