Happy New Year Panto people! Now the fun begins, ha, ha, ha.
You see what happens here in 'Panto-Land' is rehearsals commence in September with the mantra - ‘Plenty of time’. Then as Christmas looms it changes to, "Still plenty of time" and by the fuddle it's changed again to, "Oh my, scripts down after Christmas".
Well here we are, and unfortunately the New Year mantra is unprintable, but it's something along the lines of "Oh my goodness, I need to know all my lines, dances and songs, not forgetting to smile and an occasional bit of acting".
Well I'm happy to report that we survived our first rehearsal back after Christmas without too many casualties or tears and tantrums. This I feel was a major achievement considering we were all 'flying solo' without our scripts, in the auditorium and we hadn't had a rehearsal for 3 whole weeks!
So well done guys, keep up the hard work, see you back in 'Panto-Land' on Sunday!
