Well done everyone for last night’s dress (or undress Chris) rehearsal. What a great atmosphere, lots of laughs (thanks Chris), great cake,(sorry girls) and it all seemed to pass off as it should. Producer concerned at the running time again but I blame the audience for laughing, clapping, joining in etc when they should. You can never find a quiet audience when you need one can you? Thanks to everyone for pulling me through. If you’ve been keeping up with these blogs, let us know, you could be in the frame to do it next year. Lets have a great week guys and see you out the other side.
17th February 2010 (before curtain up)
Whoops for last night. A few hiccups with dialogue but no-one seemed to notice or care, they were having too good a time. Thanks to Martin for milking the audience and ad-libbing as required, the look on Linda’s face as she sees the overrun increasing is an absolute picture. Only six more performances to do, keep focused, don’t be complacent and what an achievement. Respect to the newby’s, hope you’ll be back next year.
Above all else, don’t stop believing, (sorry that was the Glee Club wasn’t it).
