Last night we were treated to a night of music and dance. The rehearsal was to tidy up some of the routines and I, among others, thought it was a brilliant evening. The early rehearsals consisted of the musical numbers and the difference from those early sessions to last night was nothing short of dramatic. Yes, our producer still had cause to read the riot act to those of us ‘not quite getting it’ but this was taken in good heart as though we were all starting to feel the excitement of the imminent performances.

I don’t remember us doing this last year (my first year) and I feel it was a very worthwhile session.

We are blessed with members of the Dancers and chorus who are absolutely spot on with their performance, actions and reactions, who really capture the mood of the pantomime, and, I think this ultimately will be enough to carry everyone else along on this ride which by Saturday fortnight, we won’t want to stop.

Well done everybody and pray for us all to be in fine (and full) voice by panto week.
