“Hello there!” as Captain Cockle would say. We had a great night at last night’s rehearsals. Our first opportunity to rehearse on the stage, giving the new members possibly their first taste of looking up into the auditorium. As one commented, "it certainly looks different from down here than from up there". It was a pity a few members of the cast were missing.
Some were already amazing with their ability to work without scripts and have set the bar high for the rest of us now. Auntie Joan was struggling to see her music pushed away in a dark corner. We say nobody could hold a candle to our Joanie, bet she wishes they had done last night.
Not long now to our Christmas break and then the marathon run up to panto week. Those still without a ticket or aware of groups interested - get moving they are selling fast!
And finally….. most important of all. The producer has found her voice! Aaaaargh!
