Well, last night rehearsals started in earnest, (and he didn’t mind one bit). This was also the first week of our separation. The dancers and chorus rattling through some of the numbers, auntie Joan playing from memory spoilt only by some Neanderthal from the principals’ rehearsal hammering out his rendition of Rockin’ All over The World.
The rehearsal for the principal characters built up a head of steam, well the first four scenes anyway. It’s evident on these occasions why ‘outtake TV’ has taken off in such a big way. If we were to subject an audience to some of the actions and ad-libs that were evident last night, they would have us shut down or carried off to an institution. Great fun though, roll on next Wednesday.
